Welcome to our blog.

Welcome:

Hello, everyone.
Welcome to your English class, and welcome to your blog.
We'll be using the blog to keep everyone in touch with what happens in class; especially useful if you have to miss a class and want to know what we've studied, and what you'll be doing for homework.
Feel free to upload your own posts. Anything in English is appreciated, from suggestions for English language websites to recommendations of your favourite bar. I'm looking forward to your comments.

Class update:

Each day, one student will be responsible for posting the class update on the blog. Don't worry, it's neither complicated nor time consuming. I've attached an example for you to copy and adapt.

Evaluation:

The evaluation system is very similar to what you're probably familiar with in the annual courses. Continuous assesment is 60%, and the final exam, 40%.
Continuous assesment breaks down as follows: Written task 1, 10%. Written task 2, 10%. Homework and other tasks, (including class update on blog), 20%. Participation 20%.
The final exam will be done on the last day of class, and includes Reading, 20%. Listening, 20%. Use of English, 20%. Writing 20%. Oral 20%.
